The purpose of this communication is to update you on the latest developments in relation to the re-domiciliation and pro-actively address the concerns you may have. The operational processes linked to the re-domiciliation of Solidcore Resources at Astana International Financial Centre (AIFC) / Astana International Exchange (AIX) Registrar, AIX CSD.
What should I expect as a Solidcore Investor
Upon receipt of the existing registrar of Solidcore from Computershare, AIX will create an account at AIX Registrar for each and every shareholder of record indicated in the Computershare registrar. On 24 July 2023, Solidcore informed its shareholders that the shareholders should provide the AIX Registrar with certain information to enable AIX Registrar to identify them and to open individual accounts:

The holders that do not provide AIX Registrar with the requested information and do not hold individual accounts with AIX Registrar upon the Re-domiciliation will be recorded at AIX Registrar with limited functionality available. Upon provision by the holders of the necessary information and acceptance of the terms and conditions of the AIX Registry Services Agreement with the investor, full functionality will be unlocked.
We expect to receive the file with the existing registrar on Friday, 4 August 2023 late evening (due to the 5-hour time difference with the UK) and we will process it over the weekend.
Monday, 7 August 2023 is the effective date of the re-domiciliation when maintenance of register securities holders by AIX Registrar is commenced. However, this date might be pushed forward to Tuesday, 8 August 2023 (or later) for investors at the AIX CSD as we depend on information received from an external CSD to complete this part.
From that point, we will start processing requests to create and access the Accounts in the Securities Registry upon provision by the holders of the necessary information and acceptance of the terms and conditions of the AIX Registry Services Agreement via the online registry portal or to move securities to the AIX CSD Nominee account via Tabys application. Please note that if you have not uplifted your holding to Computershare before the re-domiciliation effective date, then your name will not appear in the register of securities holders maintained by AIX Registrar. Your shareholding will be hidden under a nominee holder, which is your current investment firm, bank or broker. AIX Registrar will create an account in AIX Registrar under the nominee (shareholder of record) name. Following the re-domiciliation effective date, you may request to open your own Account at AIX Registrar (Option A below) or request the nominee holder to move your shares to a local brokerage/ custodian account opened with a Participant of AIX CSD (Option B below) or Tabys account at AIX CSD (Option C below).
- Option A - own account at AIX Registrar (for direct record of title; no trading access)
- Option B – local brokerage account (for active trading on AIX Market)
- Option C – personal custody account at AIX CSD via Tabys (for long-term safekeeping; improved online functionality to manage account; no trading access)
